Early Wrestling Career Of Mike Knox

Mike Knox was discovered by the talent spotting team of WWE in 2005 and was sent to the talent development team in order to hone his skills. He was made to wrestle a lot of wrestlers in dark matches and he got trained really well. He spent a lot of time learning the moves of veteran wrestlers and practicing them during the practice sessions. During this period, he took part in some of the promotions that WWE was preparing and he also accompanied fellow wrestler Mohammad Hassan in some of the appearances. In one of the shows during this period, he appeared as a jihadist who supported Mohammad Hassan. This went on for about a year and all he did was to train and watch veterans and other experienced wrestlers wrestle. He learnt a lot of fine details about wrestling during this period.

ECW Career Of Mike Knox

His first appearance was made in ECW. When the brand of ECW was revamped and launched again in 2006, Mike Knox was made to be a part of the show. His appearance was not a straight one, as he made it up through fellow professional wrestler, Kelly Kelly. ECW had a show called the striptease segment, where ECW diva Kelly was supposed to expose herself to the audience. The show started off well and Kelly was doing great and was stripped up to her bra and panties. When she was about to remove her bra, Mike Knox came out of nowhere and suddenly covered her with a towel. He was supposed to the protective boyfriend of Kelly and he was a heel right from the word go. In the following weeks and shows, he continuously disrupted the striptease segment of Kelly out of hatred and jealousy. He went on to have singles matches and won some of them. His most notable point in his career was the feud with CM Punk. He went on to have a feud with Punk as Kelly started showing some appreciation for him. This led to a series of good matches, most of which Punk won.
