Kevin Thorn has had several ring names before he entered WWE and some of them include Seven and Vengeance. He started off his wrestling career with Memphis Championship Wrestling, where he wrestled under the ring name Seven. Then he went on to wrestle in a lot of independent promotions and his turning point in his career came in the form of MCW Southern Heavyweight Championship on the 7th of July, 2001.

Early Wrestling Career Of Kevin Thorn

In 2002, he was spotted by the World Wrestling Entertainment and the officials sent him the official talent development center of WWE namely the Ohio Valley Wrestling. There he got trained under a lot of veterans and learnt the art of wrestling very soon. He came to know about a lot of things in wrestling and thanks to the able guidance of people in Ohio State Valley wrestling, he became well versed in the nitty-gritty of the details in wrestling matches. He started wrestling at that point of time and won the OVW Southern Tag Team Championship along with his mate Travis Bane. This happened in 2003 and a lot of people recognized the kind of talent Kevin had. During the next year, Kevin was asked to take part in the SmackDown brand of WWE. His character was built around the religious fanatic nature of people, and it was not considered a major success as the fans of SmackDown didn’t like it too much. He wrestled some mid card wrestlers such as Scotty during this period. Kevin Thorn entrance was a different one with gongs and crucifix and he would make some people spellbound. However, in 2005, he was relieved from WWE and he again started wrestling independent promotional circles.

ECW Career Of Kevin Thorn

He reentered WWE in 2006 as a superstar in ECW. His entrance theme had now changed and he carried the image of a vampire man with a girlfriend in the name of Ariel. She has the gimmick of a tarot card reader and Kevin has the gimmick of a vampire man kind of thing. He even had his promos differently. He has wrestled stars such as CM Punk, Mike Knox, Balls Mahoney, and others.
