Early Career Of Gene

He started his career in wrestling in 1998 for Afa and Sika (the Wild Samoans of WWF fame). He was first known as the “Mean” Gene Mondo, then later on became “Mean” Gene Snisky. His first win was with Robb Harper then began his solo career when he won in wXw Heavy Championship.

World Wrestling Entertainment

He first played at WWE on September 13, 2004 with Kane in a no DQ match. During the event he supposedly hit Kane at the back causing him to fall on his pregnant wife. Gene Snitsky theme music started here where he has to say his “It wasn’t my fault’ catch phrase before it.

During Taboo Tuesday 2004, he and Kane had a match. He hit Kane with a chair causing him his larynx. Kane left for sometime and went back on New Year’s Revolution where Kane won their match. Survivor Series 2004 was his turn to face another opponent, Heindenreich. He again met Heindenreich during the Royal Rumble in 2005 where Kane was found hidden inside Undertaker’s casket.

He stopped playing wrestling from April to May of 200 because he had blood clot in his stomach. He only returned in May 28, 2005 for the RAW, facing another opponent Chris Benoit. July 11, 2005, Edge found out about Snitsky’s foot fetish and presented to him Liza’s feet if he will help him find a game versus Kane. Liza even thanked Snitsky for helping her get rid of Kane’s ‘baby’. July 18, 2005, Snitsky had a match against John Cena where Chris Jericho interfered and used the lumberjack against Cena.

He later combined with Tyson Tomko to form a tag team. They won in their first game against Viscera and Val Venis. The two had great teamwork; they were the top challengers for the World Tag Team Championship. They never got the chance to beat the champions Kane and The Big Show. The team disbanded in April 2006 when WWE released Tyson Tomko. He again tried to have another partner for the tag-team in Goldust but they didn’t go as far as he and Tyson Tomko did. After that, he worked as a jobber to RAW stars.

ECW

February 6, 2007 edition of ECW, he went back on air. He changed his image, changing into a villain. He would run after various wrestlers after matches. April 3, 2007, Snitsky had a match against Holly where he won. Then he started another argument with Rob Van Dam. June 11, 2007 he was drafted from ECW back to RAW as part of WWE Draft.
