Canadian professional Wrestler Cristopher Michael Benoit was born on May 21, 1967. He performed with Extreme Championship Wrestling, the World Championship Wrestling and World Wrestling Entertainment. He was also considered one of the best technical professional wrestlers during his time. He died along with his wife Nancy and son Daniel on June 25, 2007.
Early Wrestling Career Of Benoit
Chris Benoit was a very good technical wrestler, winning many titles as well as recognitions during his career. He was named Best Technical Wrestler by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter 5 times, Best Brawler and Most Outstanding Wrestler twice from 1994 to 2004. He was also named Most Underrated Wrestler in 1998 and was awarded the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hall of Fame in 2003. Pro Wrestling Illustrated gave him the PWI Wrestler of the Year Award in 2004 and was ranked number 1 out of 500.
He won the SWA World Tag Team Championship with Dave Taylor and the ECW with Dean Malenko. In Japan he won the Supper J Cup and the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship. He was a 4 time Stampede British Commonwealth Mid-Heavyweight Champion and Stampede International Tag Team Champion and a 1 time Universal Wrestling Association WWF Light Heavyweight Champion. While with World Championship Wreslting, he won the World Heavyweight Championship once, the United Staes Heavyweight Championship and the Tag Team Championship twice, and the World Television Championship 3 times. With the World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment, he won the Twelth Triple Crown, the 2004 Royal Rumble, a World Heavyweight Championship, a WWE Tag Team Championship, the United States and the World Tag Team Championships 3 times and the Intercontinental Championship 4 times.

World Wrestling Federation Career Of Benoit (2007)
During his last match on June 19, 2007, he defeated Elijah Burke and was about to face CM Punk for the ECW World Championship at Vengeance. He failed to show up during the match due to a family emergency. Prior to this, WWE officials were already informed that he missed the weekend house show because his wife and son are sick from food posioning and were vomiting blood.
Chris Benoit along with his wife and son were found dead on June 25, 2007, in their home. After the police investigation, they confirmed that he killed his wife and son and then hanged himself.
Shortly after the findings of the investigation were announced, WWE removed all tributes, comments, and later, news articles about Chris Benoit from their website.
