Bobby Lashley had his early career in the form of amateur wrestling. He won three championships over there and became quite popular. He also joined the United States army and served for sometime. He continued to wrestle in the army and was considered one of the best there. He also had a brief stint in Ohio Valley Wrestling. Later, he began looking for opportunities in professional wrestling circuit.

Bobby then joined the famous WWE and became quickly popular. He was wresting in the SmackDown brand of WWE and was considered one of the brightest superstars there. Right from his introduction, people loved the no-nonsense, soft spoken Bobby, and he continued to wrestle like a machine. He wrestled a lot of stars in SmackDown like John Bradshaw Layfield, Simon Dean, Orlando Jordan, and many others. He was able to defeat all of them and he was considered a favorite among fans. He also took part in various PPV shows such King of the Ring, Money in the Bank, Wrestlemania, and many, many more. He had varied success in all these events and was soon competing for the top spot in the business.
ECW Career Of Bobby Lashley
Sometime later, Bobby was drafted to ECW brand of WWE and started wrestling there. There he participated in the extreme elimination chamber match and successfully came out as the new ECW champion. He defeated big superstars like Big Show, Rob Van Dam, CM Punk, and Test. He then continued to wrestle with top superstars like Rob Van Dam, Balls Mahoney, and others. In Wrestlemania 23, he made history by defeating Umaga, a wrestler from Raw and in the process shaving the head of Vince McMahon who is the chairman of WWE. This is considered a monumental match in both WWE history and in Bobby’s career. In the match, he represented Donald Trump and Umaga represented Vince and Bobby defeated Umaga convincingly in order to make Donald shave the head of Vince. Ever since that incident, he has enjoyed a high success rate and a very good fan following.
Soon after that, he was drafted to RAW brand of WWE and he currently wrestles there. He vacated his ECW title and came to RAW. So far, he has had a tremendous success rate as a wrestler and has wrestled some of the big names in the brand.
